Touch wood

Elias is at nursery today!! Hopefully he will stay well for a while now. The last week felt pretty miserable is so many ways. We thought he was getting well on Friday because he didn't have a temperature then, but on Saturday afternoon it came back. On Sunday he seemed well again but then he got a temperature again in the afternoon. Bugger!

I stayed home with him yesterday and luckily he didn't get a temperature all day and seemed very well. So, today it is finally business as usual...

Poorly again

On Sunday Elias started coughing again. :-(

I was home with him yesterday and he was in a pretty good mood most of the day but was coughing a lot and was pretty tired. When David came home he sounded really bad but improved after dinner. He slept pretty bad during the night though because of the cough.

We are treating him with the medicines we got but I'm not sure it will be enough. David is at home with him today. I really hope it will get better without us having to go to the hospital again!

Yesterday Dave took his new skates out for a spin. He did a whole lap around the lake!

Snow

We have some snow, but I guess we aren't the only ones.



Yesterday Dave bought some skates so we hope the lake will stay frozen for a few more weeks so he has a chance to practice..

Don't you think "our" lake looks great? It is really lovely to go down there and see all the people skating around. I must admit regretting not buying some for myself, but I guess there will be time to get some for me too...
