We have done it we have moved. I say "we", but I ,Dave, actually went to work on the move day, a strange decision perhaps. Vickan and Stig handled everything, but we had hired a removal company who were excellent. They arrived at 7.45 am and were finished by lunchtime. It cost us about 6500 SEK but it was worth every öre.
When we first got to the house, the old owners had left us a bottle of bubbly wine and a note welcoming us. They also left a bunch of useful stuff behind, like gardening equipment, a trampoline(!), and nice wooden cupboard, a high pressure water cleaner among others. It is good to know we have such nice people as our predecessors.
We slept in our new home for the first time last night, and Elias slept in his own room for the first time, meaning that we could talk and move and read without worrying about waking him up. He slept pretty well in there we think.
Now come the weeks of living in a mess. But it will be fun to get everything how we like it in the home.
